Widuri Beach is located about 3 km fom the centre of the town, Pemalang, Central Java. Public transport can take you there. The beach is overgrown with leafy trees of dozens year old. Widuri Beach is one of famous tourisms in Pemalang. It is located in Widuri Village, Pemalang, Central Java. This Beach is named Widuri Beach because long time ago, there was a girl that lived in Widuri Village and her name was Nyi Widuri. Around 1954 the government of Pemalang inaugurated the beach by the name of the park or cruise the Widuri beach. It is managed by the department of culture and tourism Pemalang.
This beach is an economical holiday alternative. The entrance ticket is only pegged at Rp 10,000. The beach is crowded by people every holiday, including when Eid holidays. Indeed , the beach is not too broad. However, the air is cool enough to be enjoyed. There are many overgrown trees that have been decades old. If you come in the morning or evening, do not miss to enjoy the beauty of the sunrise and sunset .
